Home >> Undergraduate Courses >> Graduate Exit RoutesGraduate Exit RoutesThe Oasis Youth Work and Ministry Course has prepared students for a variety of employment opportunities and our new courses in Children's Work and Ministry and Family Work and Ministry will do the same.
The varied training and placement experiences received whilst on the course prepares students for a diverse range of exit routes in both youth work and youth ministry related employment. A number of our graduates follow a calling each year into church-based youth ministry, running and developing youth work and ministry programmes in a variety of denominations around the UK. Other students have worked with Christian organisations such as YFC, or been involved with evangelistic ministries such as the Innervation Trust. Recently, a number of students have gone from the course into employment within Oasis, both in the UK and overseas, finding themselves in a variety of youth work positions, involved in youth inclusion work, or developing youth and community work around the Oasis hubs. The course also prepares students to work for local authorities in a variety of roles, delivering youth and community work in a range of locations. Other students are involved in roles developing mentoring, working as a youth worker in schools or working with young offenders. We anticipate that those graduating from our new courses in work with children and families will find employment in similarly diverse settings.
