Oasis College is distinctive because of the Christian ethos that underpins our support for students and our emphasis on practical experience. We believe in learning by doing, and offer high levels of support for new and experienced workers to draw on theoretical knowledge and theological reflection to develop work

and ministry with children, young people, families and communities.

We offer a range of courses at different levels, from short courses to undergraduate and postgraduate awards.

Our level 3 foundation programme offers a range of modules that can be taken as individual short courses or combined to achieve a University Foundation Certificate or University Diploma. 

Who is it for?

These are ideal for new and experienced workers/volunteers seeking to extend their skills through achieving nationally recognised qualifications. 

How long are the courses?

Each course takes around three months to complete, including attendance at either three or four taught sessions (depending on course) and the final assessment.

Our undergraduate programme offers a pathway towards professional recognition in three fields of work and ministry. These awards are designed to prepare and equip students to serve in communities alongside children, young people and families as fully qualified graduates.

Who is it for?

These awarda are designed for people who wish to pursue a vocation in work with people alongside Christian ministry. The programme caters for students progressing from ‘A’ levels, or equivalent, and are exploring their vocation in work and ministry; however, it also caters for mature applicants seeking a career change or wishing to undertake degree level study for the first time.

How long are the courses?

Each of our undergraduate awards takes three years to complete in full time study.

Our postgraduate programme provides a route for continuing professional development and higher level qualifications for experienced workers. These awards are designed to develop your critical thinking and develop your expertise as an advanced practitioner.

Who is it for?

Our postgraduate awards are designed to support the continuing professional development of workers and volunteers in the field of Christian Ministry. You may be an existing worker however we also welcome interest from mature students with significant voluntary experience. The majority of our students will be returning to study after being ‘in practice’ for some years while some may be progressing directly from an undergraduate qualification seeking to extend their studies and qualification to Masters level.

How long are the courses?

Our postgraduate awards take one year to complete in full time study; part time study takes either two or three years.

Our continuing professional development programme provides a flexible route for certified learning. These courses are designed to develop your critical thinking and develop your experise as an advanced practitioner without having to work towards a full postgraduate award (but credits can be carried forward to an MA programme at a later date).

Who is it for?

These are ideal for experienced workers/volunteers seeking to extend their skills through achieving nationally recognised qualifications at Masters level.

How long are the courses?

Courses run over a 3-6 month period and require attendance at College for between 2-4 days over this period.
