Ever since we began our first youth ministry course in 1991, Oasis College has seen a large number of mature students training with us. Our passion is to equip Christians to work with children, young people, families and communities and we do this regardless of age, race or gender.

Mature students are welcome to train with Oasis College whether you are an existing youth, children's, family support or community worker seeking to formalise your skills, or someone looking for a new career working in one of these fields. Those aged 21 or above may enter the course with less academic qualifications provided they show aptitude for learning and have sufficient experience of working within their chosen field.

Most of our courses are at undergraduate or postgraduate level, and all applicants, regardless of age, are required to demonstrate the ability to meet the full academic requirements so we may set you a piece of work relating to your chosen field to evaluate your ability in this area. Every application is considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the application to the course as a mature student, please contact us.
